Academia de Música Sol a Fa

Raising a generation through music and faith

Our Story

Academia de Música Sol a Fa, located in La Trinidad, Nicaragua, was established to provide children with access to music education rooted in faith and purpose. What began as a small initiative has grown into a vibrant school offering instruction across a wide range of instruments—including strings, winds, piano, guitar, and voice—giving students the opportunity to discover and develop their musical gifts.

As the program has expanded, so has its vision. With a growing student body and increased community involvement, the school has become more than a place of learning—it is a space where music, faith, and mentorship come together. In a region with limited opportunities, the school provides structure, encouragement, and a path forward for children and their families.

Our Program

Our school is led by a dedicated team of local instructors and leaders who are committed to both musical excellence and personal development. Under the leadership of director Benjamín Rodríguez, the staff provides instruction across multiple disciplines while fostering an environment centered on encouragement, discipline, and faith. Their work reflects a deep belief in the power of music to shape character and open doors for students.

Beyond teaching, the staff plays an active role in La Trinidad. They mentor students, support families, and minister to their community. Many students and their family members have already taken the step of baptism, reflecting the deep spiritual nature of their approach. Academia de Música Sol a Fa is much more than just a music program, it is a Missionary Music School that is sharing Jesus all over La Trinidad and beyond!

Our Impact

Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, Academia de Música Sol a Fa continues to grow as more children enroll. Recent contributions have enabled us to expand the program, enhance facilities, and get brand-new instruments in children’s hands. As our students develop musically, they are also gaining confidence, discipline, and a deeper sense of purpose.

Beyond the classroom, the school has become a center of hope and support for the broader community. Families are being served not only through music education, but through practical assistance, outreach efforts, and spiritual care. What began as a music school is now a place where lives are being transformed—where children are learning, families are being strengthened, and an entire community is being impacted through music, faith, and compassion.

Academia de Música Sol a Fa in Action

We like to refer to our music schools as “Missionary Music Schools” because their mission is to do more than teach music; we want to share Jesus with the world in every way we can! The work being done at Academia de Música Sol a Fa is transforming the lives of our students and their families. Please look at some of the many ways God is blessing our school.
